CBA-NS Welcomes New Board Chairs for 2025–26

CBA Nova Scotia is pleased to announce its 2025–26 Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2025.

Introducing the Incoming 2025-26 Board Chairs

We are excited to welcome the following incoming Board Chairs, each bringing unique strengths and perspectives to their roles.

Megan Ross

Megan Ross, Communications Chair

Megan Ross is the founder of Ross Estate Law, a boutique firm focused on accessible, client-centered estate services. She has also served as a professor of law and legal theory, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her practice. Her expertise extends to corporate, tax, and human rights law, making her uniquely equipped to address the complexities of estate matters with a comprehensive approach.

Sean MacDonald

Sean MacDonald, Member Services Chair

Sean MacDonald is a civil litigator at Manley Law with experience in real property, wills and estates, and commercial law. He has appeared before courts and tribunals in Alberta and Nova Scotia and is actively involved in community initiatives supporting youth, local businesses, and charitable causes.

Jillian Houlihan, Advocacy Chair

Jillian Houlihan is a labour and employment lawyer with expertise in human rights, constitutional law, and professional regulation. She represents unions and individuals in arbitrations, mediations, and court proceedings across Nova Scotia and PEI. Jillian is also active in legal associations and was recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada™ 2024.

Robbie Mason

Robbie Mason, Young Lawyers Chair

Robbie Mason practices in wills, estates, and tax law, offering both strategic advice and litigation support. She began her career at a major Nova Scotia firm and now serves clients across HRM and the South Shore. Robbie is active in the CBA-NS Young Lawyers Section and volunteers with a local arts organization.
